Vets With A Mission is an Internal Revenue Service 501 (c) (3) charitable corporation eligible to receive contributions for tax deductible purposes to the extent allowed by law. VWAM’s Federal EIN is 68-0177553. VWAM was founded in 1989 and is incorporated in California and Nevada. It is a registered private charity in South Carolina.
Vets With A Mission is a non-profit ministry and humanitarian organization recognized as such in the United States and Vietnam. VWAM is an approved non-governmental organization (NGO) by the People’s Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and has been granted a permit to operate (PTO) by the government of Vietnam.
The Children’s Heart Surgery Program provides, through the generosity of private donors, life-saving heart procedures that are performed in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang or Hue. Priority is given to babies, children, teenagers, adolescents and adults younger than forty (40) years of age.
