I am looking to find anyone who might have information about my father, Paul G. Wargula, throughout his time at Ton Son Nhut Airbase from 1970 - 1971. He would have been working on the base itself, from what I know he would have been maintaining aircraft, his best friend in training went by the name of "Cubby" and upon discharge I believe he was a SSgt.
I am planning on writing a book about aspects of my father's life, and a significant part of it is consisting of myself taking a trip to Vietnam to try to visualize what he may have seen, thought or experienced, with a comparison between then and now.
He had never really gone into detail, and all I have to draw from are great boxes of memorabilia; pictures, letters, medals, old stars and stripes issues, etc... and details from my Mother's memories.
If anyone can offer any direction or suggestion it would be greatly appreciated... Better yet, if you knew my father, PLEASE contact me... I would be unfathomably interested in speaking with you...

I'm in search of soldiers who may have known my father, Gerald Leigh Kleinberg, nickname Israel, during his tour there from March to September '68. He was in the Army, Americal Division, 23rd Infantry, 11th Light Infantry Brigade. My father died in '98 due to the wounds he suffered there and am left with many questions and seeking more info about his tour in Nam. Welcome Home to All. Also, the book "War and the Soul" by Ed Tick Phd. has shed an abundance of light about PTSD and recommend it to all. Thank You!

Dear Veteran:
If you haven't started a claim for your GUARANTEED service-connected compensation you are missing out on compensation benefits you have earned. By virtue of serving your country YOU ARE ELIGIBLE for at least one claim, if not many more. For instance, tinnitus (Tinnitus is not itself a disease but a symptom resulting from a range of underlying causes, including ear infections, foreign objects or wax in the ear, and injury from loud noises. Tinnitus is also a side-effect of some oral medications, such as aspirin, and may also result from an abnormally low level of serotonin activity). is certainly a service-connected claim ALL SERVICE MEMBERS can receive as compensation.
What are you waiting for? No more waiting for long periods of time at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Office or DAV organization, with U.S. Compensation Programs your compensation benefits are just a click away.
As a veteran, you and all other U.S. veterans can apply online for service-connected compensation benefits. U.S. Veterans Compensation contracts with Independent Compensation Processors (ICP) throughout the United States to expediently garner compensation benefits for U.S. veterans. We work faster and smarter than government employees for the benefit of U.S. veterans.
With processing speeds faster than VA VSOs, DAV representatives, and other benefits counselors, our ICPs proudly and efficiently get veterans the benefits they have earned and deserve.
Also, whether a veteran is currently working on a claim or not, we can still get the job done faster. Our ICPs do not sit on claims to increase their bottom line, they work extremely hard for U.S. veterans to get what they have earned in the quickest time possible.
As you know, we are a company of veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces who work hard for ALL veterans. We help veterans get benefits they have earned and deserve and benefits they didn't know they were eligible for or existed. EVERY U.S. Veteran should apply for benefits, the results could surprise them.
Lastly, make sure and send this message to ALL members of your unit/organization or veterans you know. As a client, you are getting this e-mail as a heads-up on this exciting program. As stated in previous correspondence, November 2007 we will begin our national promotion campaign. If you have any questions regarding your claim please contact us today.

Veteran of 2 Tours in country.
Question to all.
Does anyone know what happed/happens to all the records of the various outfits as they were/are dsisbanded?
Do the various branches of the service have them warehoused somewhere?
As I have perused the guestbook I frequently see family/survivors looking for any information about those who served and gave their lives and/or came home.
Where do we/they go for this information?
