Served as Plt leader with the Bravo Co., 1st Brgde, 4th Division in Anke, May 16, 1970 until the 4th stood down then went to the 512th Trans Co, Qui Nhon Support Command, Charang Valley and was a convoy commander until May 1971

My father was in country from Dec 68 - Feb 70 with 3rd Mar Div 1 /9 and / or 2 /9 with HQ co. I also know he spent some time on the USS Vancouver. He has never been fully comfortable discussing his time in Vietnam but has begun to speak of it more in the past year. Please answer this if your were with the 610 transportation company. Stationed at red beach during 1970 and 1971. I don't remembered anyone I was with. My mind went blank and I have had a hard time because of the loss of my friends.

Hi i am writting in regards to anyone that might know or have served with my father William H Shaughnessy. He was in the USMC. I am looking for pictures or any info that you can tell me about him...seeing how he wont talk about the war.( Which i understand why) Alls he told me is what he served in.
3rd engineer 3rd battalion division
5th marine division from 66-67
3rd marine division from 68-69
2nd marine division from 70-71
He was in Quang-Tri,Dong Ha (think thats right),Cua Viet,Camp Carroll,Cam Lo,Con-Thein. He was wounded in nov 1968.
Also he is looking for a friend named Lawrence (Larry) D. Cote. Any help with pictures or info is greatly appreciated.Or any site i may find this info at.You can e-mail me at the adddress above.

I served with the 1st Cavalry Div. (Airmobile) as a medic 91B20 with B Co. 15 Med Bn from Dec. 1967 to Sep. 1968, holidayed at LZ English, Sharon, LZ Stud and other places. Experienced TET ?68. Helped the Marines at Khe San. Cleaned up the Ashau Valley. I transferred to the 15th Admin Co. at An Khe (where the beer flowed freely and the food was cooked) from Sep.? Dec. 1968 even got a different MOS 74E20. Original Hometown is Worcester, Mass.

PLEASE, notify me of any Vietnamese Lady from Cam Rahn Bay who is looking for the father of her (Our) child. The child, adult now needless to say, would be around 39 years old. The woman needs to verify that she is in fact the one I am looking for, like where we worked and so on. I was in Vietnam February 1957-November 1958 as a dependent (my father was the Assistant Army Attache). I returned in Oct 1967 and did three consecutive tours with MACVSOG. I remained in Vietnam on a variety of contracts with the USG and eventually was commissioned a Foreign Service Information Officer with USIA. I departed in April 1975.

I came across a picture of a man that served in Vinh Long Vietnam and want to find out who this person is. All I know is he worked at the Vinh Long Air Field. The picture is a black and white head shot of a man in a white shirt, with dark hair, blue eyes. On the back of the picture is inscribed ?vinh long 71?. If anyone can point me in the right direction try to research this it would most helpful or is interested me sending the picture.

Served with 8th Engr, 1st Air Cav Div in July 67-July 68, and with the 27th Maint Bn. in 69-70. I remember driving a 5-ton wrecker out in the field. The boom had TONI wrote on it. L.Z English, Camp Evans and many others. Close to Hong Cong mountain. Remember aircraft painted like Santa. Remember when one single mortar hit our ammo dump and all hell broke loose.
