Stationed in Phu Bai from July 1969 to July 1970, sent to Saigon for another 45 days to complete my extension for an early out, then served with the 509th RRG. Served with the 8th RRFS attached to the 101st as a support group, was a Staff Sargeant with them in both the admin group and the Strike Force perimeter and outside defense activity. Met a lot of great people there, we have a lot to talk about as well. Came back reasonably sane and go married and am such for almost 40 years now, many grandchilden! Suffer from some Agent Orange stuff. I hope all of you are doing well and a happy New Year and a healthy and properous one as well cheers to all.

I was with the HHB 2nd Bn. 32nd Arty 25 Infantry, in the Commo Section in Cu Chi and Tay Ninh from Feb. 67 to Feb. 68. I am filling for ptsd and having trouble with the VA. Anyone out there remember the nights we were on alart for a possible overrun of our compound, or the mortor attacks we had. After I left in Feb of 68, our hooche took some direct hits and people were killed. Does anyone remember any of this and any names of who was killed. Any help is appriciated.

was in country may1970-dec1971 stationed at camp tiensha worked at harbor security , drove skimmers & 45, pickett boats , patrolled all of danang harbor including red beach , leper colony , china beach, rock quarry, it seems just like yesterday , anyone remembers me e-mail me so many names cant remember a lot of them i retired as BMC 1998, welcome home all my vietnam brothers and to the ones that didnt come back rest in peace.
