I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE NAMES OF THE MEN I HELPED AT THE MILK BAR EXPLOSION IN BAC LIEU IN JUNE OF 1965. I HAVE OFTEN WONDERED IF THEY SURVIED THE EXPLOSION. I served with the 169th Engineers at Long Binh Nov. 67- Nov. 68. In 2005 another Viet Nam Vet and I started building a Veterans Memorial Park. Our web site is www.avmpsc.org . I served in the 184th Ord Bn Provincial Guard Company from February 68 until July 68, then was tranferred to the 29th Civil affairs Co. 1st Plt at Dong Ha. My address book was distroyed when our basement flooded and I lost all of the addresses. I served in Marine Corps with H&S Co H&S Battalion, 1st FSR FLC, DaNang attached to NSA Hospital in DaNang from Sept 67-June 68. As Marine Laison. I would like to find out if any Corpsman from NSA new a corpsman name Bill from Kings Mountain NC and Red from I think Virginia when I left in 68 they had about a year to go. We spent a lot of time in the same hooch.

stationed at danang air base 1965 1967,mag11 mabs11 bulkfuel co.we had fuel stations up and down flightline,i worked most of the time on the northwest side of runnway.saw a lot of mishaps including a sidewinder or zuni fired from f8 crusader,on marines flightline.landed on air force side by b 57s

I was in the 504th in Phu Tai valley from August 1969 to August 1970. I was the company clerk under Cpt Camarenos and later I ran the little PX we set up on the compound right behind the movie screen. I am Sgt Warren. For some reason I thought it was once the 578th Signal Co.
My DD214 says 504th. This compound was next door to the Telephone Exchange and also a soft ice-cream plant was just outside the gate. I recall we were first further down the road near the supply depot and then moved to the Phu Tai location.

served 2 tours in viet nam, 1968 and 1969,, 1st tour was in cu chi with 554th combat engineers, spent time in tay ninh also, 2nd tour was 69 with 557th combat engineers in phuoc bin , I drove 5 and 10 ton truck looking for larry crabb that was in 557th or anyone else that was there around the same time as I was....thanks for your serve
