I was a Navy corpsman form 1970 to 1974, was never " in country " but I am a Viet Nam Era Vet if that counts for anything. My Dad was also a Navy Corpsman, HMC Charles D. Streeter, and he was stationed in Da Nang from 1965 to 1966. I would like to hear from anyone might have served with him. Thanks. Carson

Stationed at Phan Rang AB from Feb. 1969 to 1970. Assigned to 614th Tactical Fighter Squadron (the Lucky Devils) and was a crew cheif on a F-100D (VP-814). My pilot was Capt. John Casper who later in life went on to become a shuttle commander with NASA, great guy.
I hated the boredom of the flight line so I volunteered to work for Red Horse where we built the covered revetments that housed the planes I worked on. Best friend over there was a fellow New Jerseyian, Jeffrey Trochelman. Enjoyed going to Singapore on R&R, beautiful place. God bless all you who put your time in the trenches, your country is proud of you.
