What do VWAM humanitarian teams do?

Most teams are involved in a project and/or a medical team usually working out of a previously built or sponsored VWAM clinic in Da Nang City, Da Nang or Quang Nam Province. It could be in a ward or district in the city, or in a rural area in a province. Team trips are also taken to Dong Ha in Quang Tri Province and Hong Ha in Tua Thien Hue Province as well as other selected areas of Central and Southern Vietnam. There are both health/medical volunteer and non-health/non-medical volunteer opportunities on each team. Both Vietnam veterans (given preference) and non-veterans (repeat team members given priority) are encouraged to participate! Approximately 25 volunteer positions available on each team.
